At Drayton Valley Storage there are no fees to book or reserve a storage unit.

No gate card or opener required. We offer cell phone access to the yard.

No security deposit is charged at Drayton Valley Storage.

You can store your own belongings that typically include most household or business items provided they aren’t on our prohibited items list below. You may not store items that belong to another person.

Prohibited Items:

  • No Firearms, munitions or explosives
  • No Food (Including pet food)
  • Hazardous, noxious or toxic materials
  • Living (and dead) things (plants, animals etc.)
  • Money or personal/legal documents
  • Priceless and irreplaceable items
  • Stolen property

We have a fully secure perimeter with barbed wire topped 6 foot chain link fence, security monitoring and yard lighting. Also, there is someone always on site during office hours. We also insist on hidden shackle disc locks on our units.

Our storage units are available in all sizes and are all on the ground floor. You can easily drive up to your unit for loading and unloading.

A person’s belongings come in many shapes and sizes, so to help you with determining what size of a storage unit you need we have a storage calculator where you can input an inventory of your belongings and get an accurate answer.

Same day notice either in writing or verbally at the office is all that’s required. Giving proper notice is important. If we are not aware that you have moved out we may keep charging you for the storage unit.

Storage access hours are 6:00 am to 11:00 pm 7 days a week via our cell phone app. Office hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 4:00pm, Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm, and Saturday 10:30am to 1:30pm.

We make paying for your storage unit as easy as possible. You can make your payment in person, over the phone, or through our website’s payment portal. We also give you the option to have your monthly payment debited from your credit card or bank account. For the security of our customers and for the safety of our staff we do not accept cheques, cash, or money orders.

For customer safety and the security of their items, we do not allow 24 hours access except in special circumstances. These special circumstances include situations like if you are a business or tradesperson that work extended hours. For these situations contact our office and we will set up special access permission on the gate app so you can start your day when you need to.

No. Living in a storage unit or an RV parked at a Storage facility is prohibited by provincial housing laws. Any person found living on the premises will be evicted to comply with the law and our insurance policy.
